Action Centre
Items that require your attention. Open it from the app header, clear what needs doing, and jump straight into the job or invoice.
What It Is
Action Centre sits in the Total Tradesmen app header. On desktop it opens as a drawer. On mobile it opens as a sheet. It is not a separate website page.
Think of it as the first thing you check in the office. Late jobs, invoices to chase, services to book, quotes still waiting, and account warnings, all in one list. Tap through and you land on the right filtered screen.
Who Sees What
Built mainly for office staff, admins and managers. Engineers mostly see their own recent activity. Wider company alerts depend on permissions.
Needs Action
These are the prompts that ask for a clear next step:
- Jobs that need assigning today and are still unassigned
- Jobs not completed from yesterday
- Late jobs
- Overdue invoices and invoices due today
- Outstanding quotes
- Draft purchase orders ready to send
- Services due, so you can contact the customer or book the next visit
- SMS or AI credits running low or used up
- Trial ending soon
Recent Activity
A quick look at what just happened. Job assigned, quote accepted, to dos due, and similar updates, so the office stays across the day without opening every screen.
Insights
Short tips that highlight patterns worth acting on. Busiest engineer, unassigned work, outstanding debt, or jobs finished but not invoiced yet.
How You Use It
- Open Action Centre from the header
- Pick View, Contact or Book Next
- Land on the right list or contact flow
You can choose which alerts show, so the inbox stays useful instead of noisy.
Why Offices Like It
Most mornings start with the same chase. Who has not been booked out, what is late, which invoices are overdue, and who needs a service call. Action Centre puts that list in front of you so you clear work in the system instead of writing another sticky note.
